No need to look any further than Mike's Silverdale Transmission for your tranny repair needs. You just feel like you're in a very special place when entering this shop.. As a woman alone, I'm always a little anxious and guarded about any repair work, being done on my beloved '92 Subaru Legacy L Wagon...best car I've ever owned, and, at about 300,000 miles, I'm not about to give it up. The minute I entered the shop, Owner Mike greeted me with a warm, genuine smile &: welcomed me, assuring me be would take care of my car. The saying goes you can tell what the CEO of any business is like by how the lowest position employee treats you. so true! Everyone was courteous, friendly helpful, smiling! , And they ALL LOVED WORKING THERE! FROM THE BEGINNING, TONYA, PARTS/FRONT OFFICE PERSON could not have been nicer! She answered my many questions, calked me at at home several times bringing me up to date on work progress. She was open and very helpful, explaining about prices. So very impressed with this very lovely, unique and capable woman. When the rebuilder guy ane down with the flu, I told her I was willing to wait until he was well to have the work done; but Owner Mike stepped up and did the rebuild himself. When I walked into that shop, both times, I felt almost a spiritual ambiance, something like when I step into my church, because of the genuine kindness of everyone. . I agree, if this had a choice of any number of stars, I would give it 100. I am so very pleased that "Subie" now has a tranny that performs better than when it was first installed in 2013. Thanks, Mike! You really know your way around transmissions. I could really tell the difference when I took it out for a test drive. I could not be happier with everything I experienced with Mike's Silverdale Transmission. This place is a gold mine in saving money by keeping the most economic car you can have...the one you own now. Take care of your car, and it will take care of you!
